what will I remember most from the class?

What I will remember most from the class? Well actually, I can't recall anything specific from the class that will keep in my mind except the style of teaching from Ms. Alia. She is one of the most fun and interesting lecturer I’ve ever met. Actually, this class was the first class I enter when study in Unikl IPROM and Ms. Alia definitely give me the best possible impression on how fun it can be study in here. She did not create a community or a social network for the students, instead, she creates the conditions necessary for the right kind of environment to emerge. I also will remember the only presentation I’ve to do which is about how to use the dictionary. That presentation was in a group of five. It was fun to present on something that you don’t really know about and we’re lucky because it was Ms. Alia that gives us the guidance on how to do it. Well other than that, I can’t think anything more but this class was definitely the successful one.

the most thing i will remember from the class was a punishment from our very beloved madam alia to sing a justin bibir song..(p/s i dont know how to spell his name correctly)...cause by not answer the question that given by madam in a poison box game...it was totally unbelivable to sing that song..and all that thanks again to our beloved madam alia...

What I remember from this class is face my beloved lecturer. My lecture so cute and happening. Her make my learning in a happy mood...thanks Miss...Thanks also to my friends make our class full of laughter. My sweet memories in this class when came back from the hometown. Our class make a mini raya. In this ceremony, we play the game when wo are failed to answer the poison question are required to perform front of the class. I so afraid when I need to answer the question but the day not my lucky day when my answers is wrong. I need to perform but I steady when look Zaman, Abu, Wan Jack, Perut,and asral can't the answer also...OMG!!! I still laugh and can't forget when remember we singing the Baby Song. I very happy when see my lecturer laught..Thanks great Miss Alia and my beloved friends make a day colourful and meaningful. Love you all so much...muahhh...muahhhh..muaahhh...

I will remember mostly about how cool Ms. Alia conducts us. The way we learnt grammars and others. I think the part of it is about the presentation. Unfortunately, only one presentation in this semester for this class. But it is suitable for the time constraints that I am facing this semester actually. If there were more presentations, might be I cannot perform better. What Ms. Alia planned is good enough for improving our english especially the basic foundation; grammar. I am totally week in this part compared to writing and reading. But I wish on the next semester, Ms. Alia would be one of my lecturer again.

I was surprised when told that I would be in the study of grammar while in this class. I do not think that I will learn it. But it’s ok, Because When I look at the syllabus, is that I still do not know. I was also surprised when I also learned how to use dictionaries. It was me that which group do are me, fais, anis, amin and Fist. We need to create a presentation about it. Before this, I would not know it would have the means to use a dictionary.All matters contained in the syllabus, not taught by lecturers instead. Students who will explain to other students. Lecturer will describe only state where there are students who are hard to understand about something or there are errors in the description of the student.This is my learning experience in my life, because before this, while studying a diploma, a lecturer who will explain all of it.

what learning experiences have I gained from the class this semester?

The learning experiences that I have gained from this class are the study in a group and being a team player if not the leader. Even though I made a mistake several times in class, whether in writing or speaking, there are always my friends that responded to me very nicely and helped my English. I also learn that is was important to study something over and over again because we never know when we will make mistake just like in this class where we have to study grammar, the most important thing in English if we want to communicate well.

the only experiences that i gained from class was always do your homework in time. hey it well enough to say that is my bad not to do the work in time but for your information i already get the punishment. there are consequences in not done your homework that is marks deducting by your own lecterer...lol...

Lots of sweet memories and experience gained from this class such as Presentation. Our group members need to discuss and brainstorming about Dictionary Skill before present in front of this class. From this class I think I was improve our skill in presentation because before that, I so nervous while during a presentation.This class also, shows working in a group is better than do alone. Team work are most important during do task and exercise in group. Billion love to my lovely lecturer to make this class have fun!!love it~

Learning experiences that I gained from the class is about the use of grammar and also suffixes. Part of it is about the use of dictionary, of course because I am one of the presenters who presented about the use of dictionary... The other part is I should open the notes and exercises given, duh! (^_^)v

First of all, I am happy to learn in the classroom together with the lecturers and the new friends . This is the first class to do my learning in a happy mood with friends full of laughter. Learning experience that I can today is to learn while playing games. The poisonous box. The last person holding the box when the music had to answer questions by Miss Alia. hahaha ... One thing, it's not a box, but Miss Alia replace the former state highway cake. This is because, before that, we have made great supper, and Miss Alia took the cake.It is a funny day. All students to the container quickly to the students on the radios did not want to be the last people who hold the former. But there are also some students who deliberately give the container slowly. And lastly, passionate people at the SAME only be the last person, Miss Alia decided to produce the right person to answer questions that are still present in the circle. Before I forget, there are some students who are unable to answer the question correctly to wait outside and plan for presentations will be made.If already out, there are plans to impose a friend who was still safe inside the circle.Finally, living in a circle with only four people, including me.Miss Alia just looking to stay another two people to make presentations. But my good fortune, I was included in that group. hehehe ...They make offerings to sing songs of baby Justin. Mis Alia hold laughed to see them perform. they all so cute .. huhu. It was a memorable day.

what have I learnt from the class this semester?

I have learnt a lot from the class this semester especially about the syllabus given. I learnt that being successful in life or at work requires the ability to organize, arrange, and compose thoughts into a comprehensible format. Without these skills it is impossible to convey thoughts and emotions grammatically. That was when I learnt vocabulary learning skills that contain contextual clues, suffixes and prefixes and also dictionary skills. Transitional phrases are important to keep the flow, but without the correct placement of commas a sentence are very difficult to read. Throughout this semester, correct placement of commas has always been my greatest challenge. Thanks a lot to the group that present about this topic and make me more careful in placement the commas. Thanks also to Ms. Alia that teach us not to afraid to speak in English whenever we have to.

the thing that i've learn from the class was how to use our grammar correctly. it was such a pian in ass that only now that i know i've use my grammar in a wrong way and now i've always put in mind on how to use grammar. another thing that i've learn in the class was how too use a dictionary and all that thank to madam alia that had give us a presantation on how to use a dictionary

Salam...the first thing, I would like to dedicated to our beloved lecture and defintelly all my friends because always supports and advice me. I am happy to learn in this classroom together with the same lecturer Miss Alia and a little bit new friends.This class in a happy mood with friends full of funny, happening, and sporting. In this semester, I study of grammar while in this class such as Prefix and Suffix, Contexual clues and etc. Miss Alia gives me a lot of exercise and I need to complete before Miss Alia class started. Adoyai!!ehehe...but,this exercise are improve my grammar and writting skill. In this class also build up my confident level to speak in public. Thanks a lots Miss give me strength to do this!! =P

I had learnt lots of thing in this subject within this semester. It's loads of fun and happening. Most of it, our lecturer (Ms. Alia) focused on the grammar from present tense to past continuous tense, from articles to comprehension and the best part is when I am presenting about how to use english dictionary. Independence and dependence phrases are the one that I will remember right now. Hopefull I would able to apply whenever I have to. My last word is, because of my lecturer is an open minded person, she also teaches us not to be shy when facing and communicates with the audience or public.

Dictionary Skill

We have experienced fascinating thing today in Ms. Alia class when our group present about dictionary skill....
the first step you need to know is:
1) finding a word
-some words have more than one entry because they belong to a different word class although they are spelt
the same.For the example word "acid" -(noun)a chemical substance with a PH value
-(adj)very sour

2)Finding the meaning of a word
-Many words have more than one meaning.
-For the example simple word is "bleed"-the meaning of this word is when colour spreads,take blood from and others.

3)Finding out more about a word
-The international phonetic alphabet shows you how a word is pronounced.

4)Expanding your vocabulary
-There are many ways that you can use this dictionary to expand your vocabulary,Some definition introduce you
related words or opposite of a word is shown.

*you can refer dictionary MacMillan English Dictionary to make you understand symbol,style,attitude labels,subject
labels,regional labels and pronunciation guide. You can refer another dictionary also.

Present Continuos

*The Form present continuous divided by three form:
1)affirmative
2)negative
3)questions and answers

*Use of Present continuous is:
-For actions happening at the moment of speaking,and not finished.
-For continuing,unfinished actions which are not actually happening at the moment of speaking,with the verbs like work, learn, read, study etc.
-For changing situations,with verbs like become, get, grow, change, increase,or with expressions such as more and more.
-For a future arrangement, with a time reference

*Present Simple and Continuous with different meanings such as:
-I think it's a good idea(present simple for opinion)
-I'm thinking about it(Present continuous for action)

Past continuous Tense

*Rules of the Past continuous tense conclude that:

1)We use the past continuous tense to show that an action was going on or being carried out in the
past.
-Example:Now he is flying the kite.

2)To show that two actions were going on at the same time in the past, we use the past tense for
both actions or the past continuous tense.
-Example:While I cooked lunch,my sister ironed

3)To show that something happened while a longer action was going on,we do the following:
-First or longer action: use the past continuous tense
-Second action: use the simple past tense
-Example: I was doing my homework last night when Farid phoned me.

4)Certain verbs do not usually take the past continuous tense.
-Example: We understood your problem after the meeting.

Simple Past Tense

1)we use the simple past tense to show that an action happened in the past.
-Example: I visited Malacca in 2005.

2)we add 'ed' to regular verbs to form the simple past tense.Irregular verbs take different forms.
-Example: Little Zamir slept all evening.

3)Some irregular verbs do not change to form the simple past tense. They keep the base form.
-Example: They put the chairs out to dry
